We are pleased to offer self-catering holiday accommodation in our two newly refurbished cottages in the grounds of Thatched Farm.
Daffodil Cottage - sleeps 3(4)
A one time old farm building now sympathetically renovated whilst retaining its original character and charm.The ground floor has a newly fitted kitchenette including fridge, electric oven, hob and microwave. Open plan living/ dining area with comfortable seating, TV, DVD and radio. Separate newly fitted shower room.
Up the winding oak staircase is a very pretty galleried mezzanine double bedroom. A separate steep staircase to the single mezzanine bedroom (these stairs are not suitable for children under 7 or anyone with mobility difficulties).
A sofa bed is also available in the living area.
Electric heating.
Bluebell Studio - sleeps 2
Next door to Daffodil cottage is the cute Bluebell ground floor studio. The newly fitted small kitchenette with fridge, electric oven, hob, microwave and breakfast bar opens into the studio double sleeping/living area with French windows opening onto the gardens.
TV, DVD and radio. Separate newly fitted shower room.
Electric heating.
On-site laundry facilities are available for both cottages in the separate laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
Free wireless Internet access.
Each cottage has its own garden table and chairs and guests are free to use and enjoy the gardens. Heating, linen, towels and tea towels are provided, together with a small welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Small DVD library available.
Ample parking and secure cycle storage available.
Sorry, no smoking or pets in the cottages. Children Welcome. Both cottages booked together would be ideal for a party of 5/6.
Accessibility
Access to the cottages is unsuitable for wheelchairs, however as Bluebell is a ground floor studio it is suitable for those with mobility problems (there are two small steps to entrance door plus one internal step).
Bookings
Bookings are Friday to Friday to help you avoid weekend traffic. Please arrive after 3pm and vacate your cottage by 10am on your departure day. Shorter 3-5 day booking are also available and charged as per the charts shown below – please call 01473 811755 to enquire.

How to book and conditions:
To Book - To book, please call us on 01473 811755 or email us at: mailus@thatchedfarm.co.uk to confirm availability.
You can also press the 'Availability and Booking' button below. This will take you to the East of England website where you can see availability for the cottages plus placing a booking will automatically generate an email to Thatched Farm.
We will answer this email either by phone or email as you prefer.
Payment - When the reservation dates are agreed we will send you a ‘booking letter’ to sign and return together with your deposit of 25% of the holiday total.
The balance must be received eight weeks before the date of arrival.If you do not pay the balance in full, on time, we cannot guarantee to hold your booking, and reserve the right to make the property available for others. No refund of your deposit will be made.
Credit Card payments - We are unable to presently accept payment by credit or debit card at this time.
Arrival and Departure - Reservations are Friday to Friday. On the arrival Friday guests are requested to arrive from 3pm onwards. On the departure Friday guests must leave by 10.00am. Please advise us of your expected arrival time.
Cancellations and Refunds - If you cancel in writing at least 8 weeks before your planned arrival we refund 50% of the deposit. If you cancel in writing between 4 and 8 weeks of your planned arrival we will refund 25% of all payments received. If you cancel within 4 weeks of your planned arrival no refund will be made.
